Sassafras is a contemporary Japanese label founded in 2004

Designed and originally intended as ‘ Japanese gardening wear’ the brand has been appropriated into the menswear fashion world, with a take on traditional shapes from workwear and military wear the Overgrown jacket is crafted from a ripstop cotton twill with a contemporary take on a traditional work or chore jacket.

Its multi-pocket design elevates it from the norm to something that can be worn casually or more formally where desired.

As with a lot of Japanese pieces this jacket has an oversized cut.
